Introduction
They proposes to collect this real time farm-level data by having Raitha Sahayaks (RS) or Agri Mitras based on geographical locations close to the places of organic cultivation. Based on this farm level information the RS will send out messages to the buyers on the type of produce that is available which matches closest to buyer requirement. Once the order is placed the produce will then be dispatched to the customer by the RS. The platform will provide for logistic integration and payment support. It aims to digitise the bulk transactions using modern age technology like Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning for quality analysis, predicting shelf life and recommending buyers. Not just this, but through the Quality Assurance Systems the buyer can also request for a quality report of the products which will help them to make an informed decision. This will bring buyers and growers towards closer interaction that can reduce the role of middlemen and make organic food more affordable.

Dr Ravindra Srinivas is the Founder & CEO of Ecochoice Naturals which is an e-procurement portal for organic food produce in the B2B segment. He is also the Executive Director, Centre for Sustainable Development, Smart Cities India Foundation and Chairman Green Skills Academy.
He is a passionate environmentalist for the last 23 years and worked in different positions. Since 2015 he has been working deeply with organic farmers and the agri sector in general and founded Ecochoice Naturals whose brand name is Adi Naturals currently incubated at NSRCEL IIM Bangalore.
He has earlier worked as Senior Environmental Specialist with the World Bank, in the Ozone Division, Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India, involved in the implementation of the Montreal Protocol and as a National consultant for environment projects with the UNDP. He has a Doctorate in Environmental Law from the prestigious National Law School of India, Bangalore; Dr. Srinivas also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a PG Diploma in Environmental Law. He worked He has undergone training in Environmental Economics at the Indian Institute of Management - Calcutta (IIM-C) and Sustainable Production and Consumption in Germany.
He has won many awards and accolades, such as recently the National SKOCH award for the best Green Skills project in the country and being selected for the Temasek Water Leadership Program at Singapore.
