Company specialised in the manufacture of wire for use in a variety of products and applications, Pengg Usha Martin has achieved international recognition within the fields of automobile and mechanical engineering. What sets us apart is the highest degree of dimensional accuracy, precision in mechanical properties, a thorough knowledge of the metallurgical processes involved, a close working relationship with their customers and focused attention to their requirements. These qualities represent at the same time, their motto and their standards. The foundation of these standards has been laid with the help of their collaborator Joh Pengg, Austria who have more than 300 years of metal working experience, skill and competence.
This unit has a complete range of manufacturing and testing facilities for producing high quality oil tempered wires. The key facilities include Shaving Line, Oil Tempering Line, Testing Line, Tensile Testing Machine, Torsion Testing Machine, Wrap Testing Machine, and equipments for testing metallurgical properties. Pengg Usha Martin is currently the only company manufacturing oil tempered wires in India and at present is the only company in the world to have the BIS license for IS4454-2.
At present, Pengg Usha Martin had a capacity of 13,600 MT/annum. Currently they are operating at 80% capacity with their products being consumed not only in India but across the globe.
After the early years of struggle in FY07-08 and FY08-09 due to the downturn in the automotive market and the long approval cycle of the automotives, they have managed to post consistent growth in EBITDA, With a strong focus on quality, technology and people they are sure of not only maintaining this level of performance but enhancing it in the times to come.

Mr. Ajay Kumar is a prime example of a good leader, one who not only leads but lets the entire team grow. He is a passionate man who has put his heart and mind in Pengg Usha Martin and fostered the company to bloom. His journey started with the inception of this company as an Assistant Manager. Production & Planning. He worked diligently, gaining experience, and developed essential skills in this field. Over the years due to his dedication and proficiency he was assigned more areas like QA, Finance & Marketing to lead in 2021.
Finally, after years of hard work, experience, and strong track record he was considered for the position of CEO Dec.2022.
Before joining Pengg Usha Martin Wires Pvt. Ltd., he worked as an engineer inspection and dispatch for 12 years in Star wire India Ltd. Faridabad and as a Plant Engineer QC for 2 years in Sun flag Steel Ltd. Bhandara. He is an excellent team player who fervently believe in inclusivity and conscious cooperation. He plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's vision, strategy, and overall direction.
He is responsible for managing the company's operations and ensuring that its financial performance meets objectives. product development and financial management. employees and other important parties.
