Mr. H Sankararaman is a graduate (BE) in Electrical Engineering & post- graduate in (ME) in electrical engineering with specialization in Power Electronics, from Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. He has 48 years of exclusive experience in the field of Excitation Systems applied to Alternators & Synchronous motors, for all applications. He is basically a designer and has been responsible for putting out reliable designs for industrial and defense applications, for the last two to three decades. Trouble free working of the AVRs designed by him is a testament to his design skills.
He always works towards continuously improving customer satisfaction and quality of thier products. He takes personal care in reviewing to achieve required quality indices or exceed them. He presses the need for innovation in all departments. He gives special lectures to impart fundamentals and advanced knowledge to all engineers including newcomers. He is a main designer of AC-AC excitation systems which is for the first time designed and manufactured in India, by Sanelec. Some of his business decisions have resulted in achieving high EBITDA for the company and many multinational companies have made Sanelec a preferred source for procuring AVRs. This has helped Sanelec to achieve a steep growth in export of Sanelec AVRs and Excitation systems to Europe, China, Africa, Malaysia, Singapore and South America.
He is considered as one of the few experts in the field of excitation systems by national & international customers. He is a compassionate person and gives interest free loans to Sanelec employees for procuring vehicles, site etc. He has provided education allowance to few employees. Many deserving employees have been given cars as an award.
Sanelec has a safe and comfortable work environment for all employees. Sanelec employees are covered with Family Health Insurance. Sanelec contributes to ISKCON Akshaya Patra frequently as a CSR measure.
