Mr. Surva Shankar Chakroborty has done his postgraduate in ECONOMICS at BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY. He was born and brought up in Durgapur (West Bengal).
He joined M/s Cipla Limited in 1994 as a Management Trainee and promoted as Distribution Manager and worked till 1998. in the year 1999 formed M/s Shikha Distributors Pvt Ltd by taking the C&F operation of M/s Cipla Limited for W.B. and later expanded it to the entire Eastern Zone. He is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Soham Group, which includes managing the end-to-end supply chain, providing service and support across all markets, and leading sales activities. He has played a pivotal role in the overall growth and development of the company. He assists directors in promoting a forward-looking agenda, encouraging them to think beyond meetings, make courageous decisions early on, and remain actively engaged. With his robust leadership, clear vision, and effective communication skills, he consistently guides the group toward a favorable position.
