Krithika Balaraman has three years of experience incorporating her skill as a designer and illustrator in the business world. She loves finding innovative ways to implement her creative talent. She began her career working for global market research company, Kantar, as a Visual Communication Specialist. During her time there she helped visualize market research, became involved with the company’s marketing and branding and aided multiple diversity and inclusivity initiatives. Following this she struck out independently as Wallflowers Designs. Wallflowers Designs helps companies and organizations with product design, developing marketing collateral and creating content. Krithika’s skillset includes illustration, user interface and experience design, graphic design and creative data visualization. She strongly believes it is important to be adaptable in technical ability in order to fulfil a requirement in the best way possible. She is constantly seeking to up-skill herself through courses from reputable institutes such as Wharton University and California Institute of the Arts. She loves to write and has been involved in a creative mentorship program with author, Anita Nair. Through Wallflowers Designs, she has helped multiple start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs launch products and brands they can truly be proud of. However, Krithika’s true passion is her sense of social responsibility. She seeks to utilize her learning and talent to support causes she cares deeply about. Krithika recently launched an arts based initiative called ‘Breathe Happiness’. The project aims to spread happiness and advocate mental wellness by raising awareness on the physiological aspects of emotional wellbeing. ‘Breathe Happiness’ has hosted stalls at prominent Bangalore based events such as ‘Church Street First’ and ‘Steppinout Night Market’ at Taj West End.
