Mr. Ramesh Ranjan

Mr. Ramesh Ranjan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Global HR Community - GHRC LLP, recognized for his extensive career in Human Resources Management spanning over four decades. He is a prominent figure in the field, honored as one of Silicon India Magazine's SI Top 10 Prominent Leadership Coaches in 2023 and a member of the MG 25 India Coaches group selected by Dr. Marshall Goldsmith. Mr. Ranjan also mentors startups at E-Cell, IIT Bombay, contributing to Asia’s largest business model competition.

Mr. Ranjan's career includes key leadership roles at Schneider Electric India, American Power Conversion, Chevron Texaco/Caltex India, Praxair India, Co Systems India, Indian Herbs, and ITI. He began his career at ITI Ltd as a Personnel Officer Trainee, advancing to Assistant Personnel Manager, where he contributed to various HR functions and projects, including the Rural Automatic Exchange initiative.

At Indian Herbs, Mr. Ranjan implemented significant HR changes, including organizational design and job evaluation, supporting the company's expansion. At Praxair India, he played a crucial role in establishing Corporate HR, managing acquisitions, and expanding employee strength. His work at Co Systems India involved setting up HR policies and a competency framework.

As Head & General Manager of HR at Caltex India, Mr. Ranjan standardized HR practices across multiple organizations and established the India Leadership Council. At American Power Conversion, he led HR for multiple business divisions, facilitating significant growth and establishing a captive IT organization.

Mr. Ranjan’s tenure at Schneider Electric India included roles as Global HR Director and Vice President of India HR Services, where he oversaw major HR transformations and improvements. His career is distinguished by his strategic HR leadership, expertise in managing mergers and acquisitions, and contributions to developing effective HR policies and systems.
