Sudeshna Sarkar Ghoshal
B.Sc (Hons.), MBA

Sudeshna Sarkar Ghoshal is one of the founding Directors of Retail Scan and was responsible for conceptualising the company and setting it up with her other co-founders.

Before starting Retail Scan, Sudeshna started a CRM firm called Proximity Services - a pioneering venture for managing retail assets for financial institutions.

Sudeshna has been associated as a faculty and researcher on consumer behavior and shopper insights in Business schools like MET, NL Dalmia and IES.

Prior to her entrepreneurial career Sudeshna worked with 3M India and Illinois Tool Works, both Fortune 500 companies. In 3M she was the SBU head of Scotchgard and responsible for developing the aftermarket channel. In ITW she was instrumental in setting up distribution of the company’s products in Maharashtra.

Sudeshna is a Science graduate from Calcutta University and completed her post-graduation in management from IISWBM, Kolkata.
