The another cash cow, cottonseed oil cake is the byproduct remaining after ginned cotton and extracted oil.The initial set-up years of the firm included traditional techniques of ginning and pressing with limited machinery. Later with proper market research and risk analysis, we analysed, it could be overcome by modern techniques. They assessed there is likely increased genetically-modified BT-cotton and national cotton demand in the textile industry.
They captured the opportunity, and automated the firm, along with fully-utilised capacity and professional staff. With the advanced automated units, the operational costs reduced by 15%, Least-contaminated-cotton(LCC) reduced by 60%-15gm per bale and the yield improved by 9%-120 bales per 1500quintal. They provide 'Next day Digital Supplier payment terms' against standard 8 days, resulting in competitive edge and better supplier relations. With Poka-yoke and preventive maintenance of machines, the working environment has become safer and efficient. Received outstanding performance in the client quality-audits and products are used for export.
