Introduction
The Company had set up a Solar Power Plant under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM, 2010) Phase 1 Batch 1. Precision Technik Pvt. Ltd. was selected among the top 30 companies in India to set up the solar power plant. The project set up by the company was first of its kind in India. The Company has a fixed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) for a period of 25 years at a fixed tariff. The Solar Power Plant has the capacity to generate 9.198 Million Units of electricity per year. The plant has been operational since the year 2012 at a very small village of Nokh, Tehsil Pokharan, District Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The operation and maintenance of the plant is being handled by the electrical engineers and other support staffs. The company provides indirect employment to a lot of local people including women’s. Through the solar power plant, the company aims to reduce the intensity of global warming by reducing the Green House Gases Emissions. The company also generates carbon credits and help people and companies across the globe offset their Carbon-di-oxide (Co2) Emissions. The company is also registered with United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to make carbon credits accessible to all and helping in reducing the effects of climate change.
The company promotes gender equality and women empowerment within its workforce. It is involved in several Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives including sponsoring child education, free meals, medical treatment etc. The company continues to work towards making the world a better place to live for all human being.

Mr. Rajesh Kumar Sonthalia, son of Late Satya Deo Sonthalia is the CEO of the Precision Technik Pvt. Ltd.. He started working at the age of 16 years and has excelled in the field of Engineering Products and Steel, Polymers and Plastic products, Textiles & Garments and Renewable Energy. His has not only received awards and reward from Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India for his work but has also contributed to various trade associations and social activities.
