Mr. Milind M. Dhopeshwarkar, born in Kolhapur, has built a distinguished career beginning with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Government Polytechnic, Kolhapur. He started his career with LIC of India and later joined Essar Steel in Surat, gaining valuable industry experience.
In 1996, Mr. Dhopeshwarkar joined Menon Pistons Limited as a Trainee Engineer in Electrical Maintenance, where he contributed significantly to the company's operational efficiency. His role involved overseeing maintenance across the machine shop and foundry. Over the next seven years, he developed crucial skills in managing machinery and operations.
Mr. Milind career took a major turn in 2007 when he was promoted to Plant Head for a new project at Menon Engineering Services, demonstrating his leadership potential. In 2014, he took on an additional role overseeing Menon Piston Rings Pvt. Ltd., which was struggling with losses and high rejection rates. Mr. Dhopeshwarkar implemented continuous improvement strategies across various departments, including HRD, Purchasing, Finance, and Production. His focus on streamlining processes and reducing non-value-added activities led to significant improvements in profitability and operational efficiency. He also contributed to expanding the company’s product portfolio and enhancing market competitiveness.
