The company’s factory is located in Mumbai, where they focus on producing only quality-oriented products. ILM also undertakes new mould and customized development projects. Their daily production capacity includes one million trims, buckles, saddle and chain ornaments, and ten million eyelets, washers, rivets, and buttons. The company adheres to REACH and European standards, ensuring their products are nickel-free, lead-free, cadmium-free, and corrosion-resistant.
ILM’s product range includes rivets, buttons, trims, chain ornaments, and loops in various shapes such as oval and rectangular. Their eyelets come in different forms, including round, flat, box, painted, decorative, powder-coated, and Velcro eyelets. The company also produces a variety of buckles (square, rectangular, oval, and round), as well as zips, elastics, Velcro hook and loop, laces, and shoe sticks. In addition to these offerings, ILM specializes in undertaking customized new development projects, meeting the unique needs of their customers.
The company operates from multiple locations, with its corporate office in Chennai and a branch office in Ambur, Tamil Nadu.

Mr. Odam Rafeeq Ahmed

Mr. Rafeeq Ahmed ventured into the business world at a young age, starting in his early 20s. He initially joined his late father, Mr. Abdul Wahid, in the family business of supplying metal fittings and accessories for leather shoes and other leather goods. This business operated in both wholesale and retail sectors. Before officially joining the business, his father arranged for him to learn the trade under a local businessman. Once he mastered the intricacies of the industry, Mr. Rafeeq began approaching shoe manufacturing companies on his own. Thanks to his outgoing and vibrant personality, he quickly secured orders, although they were modest at first. Over time, the volume of orders steadily increased.
In the early stages of his career, Mr. Rafeeq handled every aspect of the business independently. He not only visited companies to secure orders but also sourced materials, checked them for quality and quantity, packed them, and personally delivered the packages to courier outlets. His dynamic personality, attention to detail, and strong work ethic helped the business grow rapidly. What started as a business generating a lakh per month has now grown to one that transacts two crores per month. Even at this advanced stage, Mr. Rafeeq continues to oversee every facet of his trading business, from initial sourcing to the final delivery of materials to customers.
Following his father's passing, Mr. Rafeeq took sole charge of the business, but later brought his wife, Mrs. Kashifa Roohi, on board as a business partner. To further expand the business, he founded a new company called Accessories Designer Beyond, appointing his wife as the sole proprietor. Today, he serves as the CEO and Managing Director of both companies, International Leather Materials and Accessories Designer Beyond. Under his capable leadership and strong business acumen, both companies continue to thrive and achieve success.
