Introduction
Among its notable achievements, J.C. Enterprise successfully completed the Indo-Bangladesh Border Fencing at Manachar Point between Assam and Meghalaya, a project that was particularly challenging due to the sensitive nature of the area, which involved issues like illegal influx, migration, smuggling, and law and order problems. The company also distinguished itself by completing the first academic block of the Central University of Jharkhand in Ranchi, known as the school-style building, for which it received the highest grading of "outstanding."
Under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Hitesh Jhunjhunwala, the company continues to grow professionally. Recently, they completed the Examination Building of Assam University in Silchar on time, despite severe challenges posed by twice-closed roads due to unprecedented flooding. The closure of National Highway-6 and the railway line to Silchar severely restricted the movement of materials and personnel. Mr. Hitesh Jhunjhunwala, who holds a postgraduate degree in Management and received a National Award from former President of India, Late Pranab Mukherjee, has introduced innovations in construction projects, including the use of machinery, effective delegation of work, and strict adherence to quality control as per tender norms.
Currently, the company has projects worth over ₹25 crore in hand and aims to achieve an annual turnover of ₹100 crore by 2030. Operating in the challenging hilly terrains of Northeast India continues to be a significant aspect of their work.

Mr. Hitesh Jhunjhunwala is the Proprietor of J.C. Enterprise, a leading construction firm located Shillong. Since taking over from his father, Dr. Kamal Kumar Jhunjhunwala, who founded the firm in 2007, Mr. Jhunjhunwala has significantly advanced the company’s projects. Under his leadership, J.C. Enterprise completed the complex Indo-Bangladesh Border Fencing at Manachar Point and the first academic block of the Central University of Jharkhand in Ranchi, both earning high acclaim.
Recently, Mr. Jhunjhunwala successfully managed the construction of the Examination Building at Assam University in Silchar, overcoming severe flooding and logistical challenges. With a postgraduate degree in Management and a National Award from former President Pranab Mukherjee, he has introduced innovative construction practices, including advanced machinery and strict quality control.
