Mr. A. Sundara Rajan, Director of People Metrics Pvt. Ltd., is an accomplished entrepreneur with a successful track record in marketing research, analytics, behavioral assessments, and consulting. Since founding People Metrics in 2005, he has pioneered the use of behavioral profiling as a strategic management tool within the Indian corporate sector, drawing on his 25 years of expertise.

His entrepreneurial career began in 1991 with the founding of Market Search India, a marketing analytics and consulting firm headquartered in Bombay with operations across India. In 1997, he expanded his influence in behavioral assessments as the Founder Director of Thomas Assessments India. Additionally, he is a founding investor in two other ventures, focusing on leadership development and cross-border recruitment platforms.

Before establishing his own ventures, Mr. Rajan gained valuable industry experience at Indian Organic Chemicals Limited from 1986 to 1988 and at Johnson & Johnson Limited from 1988 to 1991. Mr. Rajan is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (1986), where he earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, graduating with a university gold medal.

A recognized thought leader, Mr. Rajan has been invited to speak at numerous national and international conferences in HR, marketing, and business management. He is also an author; his book Ethos of Indian HR – Best Practices in Indian Companies (2016) was widely acclaimed for its insights into Indian corporate practices.
