Mr. R. Arunchandh, Director of Pontus Pack Pvt. Ltd., achieved notable success in 2015 by designing and installing Clean Rooms for hospitals including Apollo and Vijaya in Chennai. He also introduced 20 Self-Cleaning Filtration Systems for Ashok Leyland, marking the first installation of its kind in India.
In 2008-2009, he was instrumental in designing, supplying packaging materials, and managing logistics for the relocation of machinery from Singur (WB) to Sanand (Gujarat) as part of Tata Motors' Nano Car Project. In 2011, Mr. Arunchandh doubled the sales turnover for a TVS Group company and achieved 94% container utilization for Two-Wheeler SKD exports to Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nigeria from Hosur.
Between 2013 and 2015, he managed the entire Inter Unit Transfer (IUT) for Ashok Leyland across Chennai, Hosur, Bhandara, and Rudrapur. He provided comprehensive logistics services, including design, packaging material supply, packing, and containerization for 750 units of commercial vehicles within a three-month period.
Since becoming Director at Pontus Pack Pvt. Ltd. in 2015, Mr. Arunchandh has overseen company operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. He has implemented strategies that led to a 20% revenue growth and managed finances to achieve a 10% cost reduction.
