At the helm of Sampre Nutritions Ltd. is its Chairman, Mr. B. K. Gurbani, a visionary first-generation entrepreneur who transformed the company from modest beginnings. Over 20 years ago, Mr. Gurbani started with two manually operated lollipop machines and a team of just 10 people in a small tenement. Under his leadership, the company has grown into an internationally recognized confectionery major, now employing over 450 highly trained and dedicated team members who cater to the end-to-end needs of some of the world’s most prominent multinational firms.
Mr. Gurbani also presides over the Gurbani Group of Companies and holds key positions as President of the Indian Confectionery Manufacturers Association (ICMA) and as a member of various trade bodies and associations. His leadership has earned the company numerous accolades, including the prestigious International Quality Award at the International Quality Summit in New York, USA, in 2012, as well as several awards from the offices of the Prime Minister and President of India.
Sampre Nutritions Ltd. holds the distinction of being the first ISO-certified company in Southeast Asia in its category since 1995 and was the first to be HACCP-certified by BVQI. The company is also FSSA-certified, further solidifying its commitment to quality and safety standards.
