Mr. N. Srinivasa Rao, aged 53 years, is the Proprietor of Shiri Agro Industries. He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and has over 30 years of experience in the seed industry. Throughout his career, he has held various positions, including plant assistant, plant in-charge, and later as the Proprietor, Managing Partner, and Managing Director of the company.
In 1995, Mr. Srinivasa Rao established Shiri Agro Industries. He further expanded his business by founding Shiri Agrotech in 2008, a partnership firm focused on maize cob drying and shelling, providing custom drying services. In 2012, he established Srishiri Agrotech Private Limited, which continued the maize cob drying and shelling business with an emphasis on custom drying plants.
Mr. Srinivasa Rao has developed extensive expertise in designing and manufacturing machinery for seed drying, processing, and handling equipment. His work is focused on simplifying operations, reducing manpower, and ensuring easy-to-operate systems that meet customer requirements. He has standardized the design and construction of double-pass dryers with capacities of 200 MT, 300 MT, 400 MT, and 600 MT, featuring two rows of drying bins arranged opposite each other.
An innovator at heart, he invented a de-husking facility for maize drying, which has delivered excellent results. Additionally, he developed state-of-the-art corn harvesters that assist growers in harvesting at the right time, addressing labor challenges. Mr. Srinivasa Rao’s company is currently providing harvesting services across India, further advancing agricultural productivity.
