Rather than standard tours, they provide mindful, soulful, and bespoke immersive experiences that guests cherish for a lifetime, redefining tourism as they act as torchbearers for a sustainable future.
The company’s commitment to sustainability is evident in their practices. They calculate the carbon footprints generated during trips and offset them through tree planting initiatives and purchasing carbon credits from certified agencies. As proud members of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), they have launched tree plantation projects in five countries, including India, and invite guests to explore their virtual forest on Tree Nation.
As a Net Zero Team, Whispering Earth LLP plants a tree for each guest as a token of gratitude and provides a co-branded certificate in partnership with their NGO collaborator, Grow Trees. They encourage guests to participate in tree planting on special occasions, inviting them to join their sustainability movement. With over 200 satisfied customers and more than 501 trees planted, Whispering Earth LLP has offset over 60 tonnes of CO2. Their passionate team collaborates with local partners to curate unique travel experiences, including heritage tours, wildlife safaris, and wellness retreats, ensuring unforgettable journeys that engage with people and the planet.

Dr. Ruchira Srivastava, the Director of Whispering Earth LLP, oversees operations at the company’s headquarters located at G-116, B-wing, Express Zone Mall, Western Express Highway, near Dindoshi Metro Station, Malad East, Mumbai, Maharashtra-400097. As a dedicated eco-preneur, Dr. Srivastava has traveled extensively and is deeply concerned about the impact of irresponsible overtourism and the environmental challenges it creates. This concern has driven her to redefine tourism through the concepts of Green Travel and Responsible Travel, with the goal of making the travel experience sustainable.
Despite being wheelchair-bound due to a spinal cord injury during the COVID pandemic, Dr. Srivastava remains passionate about environmental issues, community engagement, and offsetting carbon footprints. In May 2023, she founded MyEcoTour under the umbrella of Whispering Earth LLP, establishing it as a pioneering travel service provider and the first end-to-end carbon-neutral travel service provider in India.
Dr. Srivastava takes a keen interest in tree plantation initiatives, collaborating with various national and international partners on projects such as Trees For Poverty, Trees For Tigers, Trees for Slender Loris, Trees for Tribals, and Trees for Reforestation. She carefully selects projects and determines the specific species of trees to plant in sufficient numbers to offset the carbon footprint generated during clients' trips, whether they are traveling by road, air, or cruise. Under her guidance, MyEcoTour champions Green Travel and has successfully implemented tree plantations in six countries: India, Thailand, Tanzania, Madagascar, Kenya, Burkina Faso, and Uganda.
Additionally, Dr. Srivastava has ensured that the company's operations are net zero by offsetting the carbon footprints generated from office activities, including the use of laptops, fans, lights, water coolers, and air conditioning. MyEcoTour embodies the spirit of a NetZero office. As a source of inspiration for her team, Dr. Srivastava personally reviews each customer itinerary to guarantee immersive and bespoke experiences, ensuring that every itinerary is customized to meet the customers' preferences and co-created with them for a unique travel experience.
