Mr. Deepak Gupta is a seasoned professional in the field of environmental monitoring, specializing in Hydrology, Meteorology, Agriculture, and Renewable Energy, with extensive experience in various applications of these domains.
He began his career with Sony as a Sales Support Engineer before transitioning to Sartorius, a German company in the weighing industry, where he worked as a Service Engineer and later as a Sales Engineer. In 2007, he joined Elcome Technologies as a Product Manager for the Hydromet industry, where he played a crucial role in executing technical projects related to weather monitoring, agricultural monitoring, eddy covariance monitoring, and flood monitoring—helping to safeguard human lives.
In 2013, Mr. Gupta was appointed Director for the Indian subcontinent at Sutron Hydromet Systems Pvt. Ltd., a US-based multinational company. Following the acquisition of Sutron by Danaher under the OTT Hydromet umbrella, he led the operations for OTT, Sutron, Lufft, Adcon, and Hydrolab across the region.
In 2019, he spearheaded the establishment of Campbell Scientific India, successfully expanding the company even during the challenging COVID-19 period. In September 2022, he took the entrepreneurial route and founded DTPLENVIRO, one of the fastest-growing startups in the field of Hydrology, Renewable Energy, Agriculture, and Meteorology (HRAM). Under his leadership, DTPLENVIRO is making significant strides in the industry, driving innovation and excellence in environmental monitoring.
