Mr. Harsh Jhunjhunwala

Harsh Jhunjhunwala is a distinguished professional with over two decades of experience in publishing, education, community development, and creative arts. An alumnus of St. Edmund’s School, Shillong, and a B.Tech graduate in Computer Science, he has built a career defined by innovation, leadership, and service.
As the editor of Eastern Panorama Offset for more than 17 years, he has authored over 200 articles, edited numerous publications, and contributed to the release of 54 books by both renowned and local authors. His notable work, Mesmerising Meghalaya, was unveiled by the then Governor of Meghalaya, Ganga Prasad Chaurasia, showcasing the state's cultural and natural beauty. He has also directed documentaries for NFDC and Doordarshan Kendra India, bringing compelling narratives from the Northeast to a wider audience. His contributions to the printing industry in Meghalaya include pioneering facility-level printed goods for NHM Meghalaya and successfully running a production unit since 2003.
In the field of education, he has developed non-tearable, waterproof documents for pregnant women to enhance healthcare communication. His innovative low-cost composite Teaching Learning Material (TLM) Kits for early childhood development have sold over 1,10,555 units, benefiting children in 78 schools while aligning with national education policies.
A dedicated community leader, he serves as a trustee of Rani Sati Mandir and Secretary of the Eastern Panorama Foundation, driving initiatives in education, skills development, and social welfare. His leadership extends to government advisory roles, including contributions to policies supporting persons with disabilities. His work continues to create lasting impacts across multiple sectors, particularly through groundbreaking innovations in education.
