Numinous Impex (I) Pvt Limited (NIPL) was established in 1999 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, an industrial hub in South India. The company was founded by a group of professional entrepreneurs who were engineers and pioneers in the field of developing and manufacturing precision machined components, primarily catering to the export market.
Since its inception, NIPL has successfully developed a wide range of critical and high-precision machined components tailored to customer specifications and technical drawings. The company has consistently supplied these components to various industries, including textile machinery, heavy earth-moving equipment, agro-industries, thermal power plants, the automobile sector, as well as valve, pump, and other engineering applications.
Since 2010, NIPL has been under the leadership of S. Suresh Kumar, who serves as the Managing Director. With more than 35 years of experience in engineering industries, he has played a key role in maintaining consistent production of high-precision products, machined castings, and textile machinery parts. Under his guidance, the company has experienced steady and sustained growth.
The organization is supported by a team of skilled engineers in production and quality control, each possessing substantial expertise in their respective domains. Mr. S. Suresh Kumar, Managing Director of Numinous Impex (I) Pvt Ltd, is an accomplished electrical engineer who graduated with distinction from the University of Kerala in 1983. His career began at ALIND in Hyderabad, where he held roles in maintenance, after-sales service, and marketing.In 1989, he joined Instrumentation Ltd., a Government of India enterprise, managing comprehensive maintenance across a vast industrial and residential estate. Later, he played a pivotal role in setting up SANMARCO Tex-Mach Pvt Ltd, a joint venture with Italian firms, where he oversaw infrastructure development, technology transfer, and production.
In 1999, leveraging his international exposure, he co-founded a partnership firm focused on exporting textile machinery spares. This venture evolved into a private limited company in 2002, which began its own manufacturing operations in 2005. Under his leadership, the company introduced CNC machining and launched production of high-precision components, particularly metal top rollers for textile applications, competing with global brands like SKF.
By 2010, he assumed sole control of the company with his wife, Dr. Beena Suresh, managing finance and administration. His daughter, an MBA graduate, later joined to support operations. With investments in infrastructure, including a new factory and advanced inspection equipment, the company scaled efficiently without external financing. Their long-standing relationship with Bondioli & Pavesi Srl., Italy, stands as a testament to consistent quality and reliability. In 2024, the company received the India Business Award MSME, reflecting Mr. Kumar’s unwavering dedication to quality, commitment, and employee development.
