Mr. Saket Kumar is a seasoned professional, entrepreneur, and visionary leader with over twenty-five years of experience across diverse industries. Known for his passion, perseverance, and innovative mindset, he has built organizations from the ground up and transformed them into sustainable success stories.
Mr. Kumar’s professional journey began in 1997 with Kothari Pioneer AMC, India’s first private sector mutual fund, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the mutual fund business in Eastern India. His contribution laid a foundation that continues to make the region an important market for the financial services industry. Rising through the ranks, he went on to serve as Zonal Manager at Franklin Templeton, where his leadership and strategic foresight drove exponential growth. Later, as Zonal Head at Bharti AXA Investment Managers, he once again demonstrated his ability to scale businesses, build high-performing teams, and foster lasting client relationships.
Armed with a management degree from IIM Calcutta in 2000, Mr. Kumar combined academic rigor with industry experience to establish himself as a thought leader in the mutual fund sector. His expertise lies in navigating complexities, designing innovative business models, and orchestrating large-scale organizational expansion.
In 2012, with determination and vision, Mr. Kumar founded Rastey Commuting Services. What began as a bold idea has grown into one of India’s leading platforms for corporate mobility solutions, serving more than 200 cities across the country and expanding internationally to Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Dubai. Under his leadership, the company was recognized globally at the BID Convention Awards in Paris in 2019, where it became the only car rental service in India to be honored for Best in Quality Service. This achievement reflects his relentless pursuit of excellence and customer satisfaction.
Mr. Kumar is admired for his transparent and people-centric leadership style, and he is regarded as a go-getter with unmatched energy and a long-term vision.
