Sankett Transport, a proprietary concern established in February 1997 by Sri Kuldip Santram Chauhan, later evolved into Sankett Transport LLP on 14th August 2013, a partnership formed by Sri Kuldip Santram Chauhan, Smt. Sunita Kuldip Chauhan, and Sri Sankett Kuldip Chauhan. With over 26 years of experience in the logistics industry, the founders have been driven by a passionate belief in transforming lives through transportation.
Sri Kuldip Santram Chauhan entered the container transportation business at a time of significant economic downturn, overcoming challenges with dedication and vision to establish a reputation as a trusted operator in container transportation and logistics. His prior experience from 1991 as a senior manager with Dolphin Marine, Mumbai, a pioneer in trailer-slung gen-sets, provided him with extensive skills and industry knowledge. Over three decades, this expertise has been instrumental in fine-tuning operations, particularly in serving the pharmaceutical sector, where gen-set equipped trailers are required to transport export and import reefers under strictly controlled temperature and humidity conditions.
Sankett Transport LLP is committed to providing comprehensive transportation solutions with a focus on efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction. The company operates a computerized fleet monitoring system to ensure timely deliveries and maintains a team of well-qualified staff along with garage facilities for round-the-clock support. Specializing in reefer and dry container transportation, the company handles containers up to 18 tons and provides pollution-free services with BS4 and BS6 Tata 4018 trucks equipped with double gensets. Mr. Kuldip Chauhan, Partner at Sanket Transport LLP, has built a legacy rooted in perseverance, vision, and hard work. Raised in a modest household where his father worked tirelessly as a taxi driver, he developed a strong sense of determination from an early age. Today, residing in Seawoods, Navi Mumbai, he reflects on his remarkable journey of transforming Sanket Transport into one of the most respected names in the reefer container logistics industry.
In his early career, Mr. Chauhan undertook various jobs before joining Dolphin Marine, a pioneer in container solutions with trailer-mounted gen-sets. There, he gained hands-on experience across operations, human resources, and supply chain management, mastering the intricacies of vessel loading and unloading. This foundation enabled him to understand the industry deeply and prepared him for entrepreneurship.
Driven to create his own enterprise, he established Sanket Transport in 1997 with a small rented shop and hired gen-set vehicles. Despite modest beginnings, his vision, strategic insight, and commitment to service allowed the company to grow rapidly. Over the years, Sanket Transport has expanded its operations, specializing in containerized transportation, particularly for pharmaceutical goods, with strict adherence to temperature and quality standards.
Today, the company operates a fleet of over 200 trailers and achieves an annual turnover of ₹70 crores, with ambitions to reach ₹100 crores.
