Dr. Sudhakar Thalapati, is serving international agriculture and farming community in appointment as a Chairman and Managing Director for Emergene Agrinovo Pvt Ltd. Significantly worked and contributed as an Entrepreneur and outstanding researcher to serve the agriculture sector. Before establishing the company, he worked at National Research Institutes –ICAR- Indian Institute of Rice Research (IIRR) and CSIR-Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) for six years to pursue PhD degree and Post Doctorial research. He has identified yield enhancing gene Os11Gsk from wild rice. Also worked as a Research Scientist at Ganga Kaveri Seeds Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad for three years before joining ICAR-IIRR. His basic background is in agriculture biotechnology and molecular breeding with more than 15 years of research experience in agriculture sector.
