Tanushree Jain, the founder of Nushaura, provides a livelihood to 250+ artisans from marginalized communities from rural India for their socio-economic development and creates earth-friendly products to maintain the well-being of consumers and the mother earth. She has worked in the refugee camps in a riot-prone area in Shamli, India to people from the public sector, corporates, and rural lands. Since 2018, she has facilitated and trained over 25,000 artisans from marginalized communities on decision-making power, and freedom of choice with financial independence along with transformational leadership, generating future entrepreneurs and creating more livelihood opportunities. She has made it to the Startup Oasis’ ‘Her & Now’ cohort 3.0 amongst the best Women Entrepreneurs across the State and has been selected by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development & The Indian Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship which aims to promote Economic Empowerment of Women Entrepreneurs and Start-ups by Women. She has been granted the 1500 USD financial aid by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH for presenting an exemplary report on the impact of covid-19 on her venture and has made her space amongst the top 5 women entrepreneurs to share the entrepreneurial journey through the podcast sponsored by GIZ, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit. She is now exporting to countries like France, the USA, Germany, and Canada. Tanushree is an inspiration to many.
