Ryan Prazeres is the Founder and CEO of Piggy Hostels. Ryan discovered the hostel culture in Europe back in 2012 when he lived there on attaining a scholarship from Symbiosis, Pune. During his time there he travelled on a budget and was amazed at how easy it was to stay in new cities and make friends from all over the world. It wasn't just accommodation, it was a culture. Completing his BBA with a specialization in Corporate Management and Entrepreneurship, Ryan then moved to London to further his education and attained a Masters in international Tourism and Hospitality Management. During his time there, he continued to travel and explore this beautiful culture making sure to use this knowledge in his Masters. On completion, he worked in sales and marketing with Best Western in London. Finally after returning back to Goa, Ryan incorporated his dream venture named Piggy Hostels is his hometown of Goa. Great amount of care was taken in the creation of the brand with many quirky fun elements at play as can be seen with their mascot and on the social media pages.
